In anticipation for this Sunday's EMW MegaBrawl 3, EMW has decided to have threads on the EMW Specials Forums that are dedicated to the matches for this Sunday's EMW MegaBrawl 3 from the Hyman Memorial Stadium in the heart of downtown Vice City.
EMW World Heavyweight Championship
"The Day Walker" Blade (c) with Abigail Whistler vs. Human Tornado
It's a battle between two men that took different paths to make it to the main event of EMW's Biggest Event. On one side, a man that was at one time named The Conscience of EMW. But lately, he has betrayed the company that made him to a legend. On the other side, an energetic, high-flying and exciting superstar with potential to make it in either WWE or TNA who was sidelined most of last year due to injury but since his return made his intentions clear in taking EMW's biggest prize. This Sunday, these two men will enter the ring to battle for the richest prize in EMW at the Biggest Event Of The Year.
Looking at Human Tornado
Human Tornado was making a huge impact in EMW ever since making his debut earlier in 2008 and was in consideration for the EMW World Heavyweight Championship. At Vicious Intent 2008, Tornado came so close to winning the title until he lost to "The Day Walker" Blade in the Hell's Playground Match. But then tragedy stoke on April 25th, 2008, Human Tornado suffered a torn ACL and a dislocated knee cap during a JCW show. That injury kept him out of action for nearly a whole year. Some may said that the injury will end Tornado's promising career in pro wrestling.
But Tornado made his return and regained his focus in taking the title that he was so close to winning last year. At EMW School Daze 2009, Human Tornado captured his first EMW title as he defeated Floyd "Money" Mayweather to become the EMW Cruiserweight Champion. The next month at Throwdown Royale: The Lethal Lottery, Human Tornado became the 2009 Throwdown Royale Winner after last eliminating "The Day Walker" Blade.
"This is a different Human Tornado compared last year." said Theo Clardy, EMW Owner and Founder. "He's more focused and determined than I have ever seen him. The injury last year seemed to motivate him even more and that's a dangerous threat to any EMW superstar."
Human Tornado later on lost the EMW Cruiserweight title to Derek Jeter thanks to NIWA's "Mr. Wrestlemania" JTH which prevented Tornado a chance to be a double champion at MegaBrawl 3. But the next week, Tornado got redemption as he defeated JTH to hang onto the World Title shot. Despite JTH almost stealing the title shot after trying to recreate the infamous Montreal Screwjob.
EMW Commentator Michael Buffer said, "I talked with Tornado about losing the Cruiserweight title and he told me that despite the loss, he uses it as more motivation for his match against JTH the next week and I think he will still have that motivation heading to MegaBrawl 3."
Looking at "The Day Walker" Blade
Speaking on someone that has changed from one year ago, "The Day Walker" Blade. Who was once considered to be the most popular EMW Superstar in the company's history, has turned to the most hated man in EMW. It all started at Ruthless Intentions 2009 when he betrayed his then Tag Team Championship partner Eddie Murphy to cost him and Murphy the World Tag Team titles and then taking the EMW Internet title from him moments later. As he did that, he turned his back on the EMW fans, the EMW Locker room who sees him as a leader and his legacy in EMW. Later on, he had formed an alliance with his wife Abigail Whistler and The Street Fighters to form the Day Walker Legion. Then at Fight For Survival 2009, he attacked the then EMW World Heavyweight Champion Al Bundy before the Elimination Chamber match and then entered the match itself and later became EMW World Heavyweight Champion in the match. Blade would later lose the title at SummerJam 2K9 to Michael Jordan but on the EMW ShowTime after Throwdown Royale, Blade not only won the title back but he has merged The Day Walker Legion into his group in the NIWA, The Elite Mafia.
"What happened this year with Blade has shocked a lot of people including myself." said Clardy. "We always seen Blade as not only a great champion but a locker room leader. But now he betrayed everything he helped build in EMW due to his constant paranoia and obsession with being the best. This is a different side of him I had no idea existed."
During this time, Blade and The Elite Mafia has raged war on EMW and will do whatever it takes to make EMW get to its knees.
The Upper Hand
At November Pain 2008, both Tornado and Blade were scheduled to be on separate teams apart of the first ever Gang Warfare match. But Blade no showed the match and Tornado ended up being the sole survivor for the Extreme Forces. Afterwards, Blade came from under the ring to get in a sneak attack but Tornado got the better of Blade that night. The next night on ShowTime, Tornado pinned and defeated Blade in a tag team match.
Putting it all together
Blade and Tornado's paths are going to be on a collision course in Vice City at MegaBrawl 3 as Tornado gets a chance to become the EMW World Heavyweight Champion.
"For Blade, this is about Power and dominance for The Elite Mafia." said EMW General Manager Tony Stark. "For Tornado, it's about accomplishing a dream and solidifying a comeback some say would never happen."
"With everything going on, this is the match that makes MegaBrawl into the biggest event of the year for this company." said Theo Clardy. "It's a match between both men that are proven main event players and it's a test for Human Tornado in what is the biggest match of his EMW career as he takes on the man that was the first ever World Champion in EMW. This should be a match to remember!"
Conclusion
At MegaBrawl 3, two men on two different paths collide for the World Heavyweight title, but one will walk out as the EMW World Heavyweight Champion. Will the dream become reality or will Blade prove his dominance in EMW?!
