ASWL Inferno
Thursday December 4th, 2008
US Airways Center
Phoenix, Arizona
From the broadcast booth at ringside, Jim Ross, Joey Styles & Jesse “The Body” Ventura welcomed everyone to a special 1 Hour edition of ASWL Inferno as “Rock Out” by Motorhead, the official ASWL Inferno theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. As JR, Styles and Ventura discussed ASWL All-Star Clash this Saturday and then sends it to ASWL Owner Theo Clardy for a huge announcement that involves the next ASWL PPV, Christmas Chaos.
In the back, ASWL Owner Theo Clardy is in his office with ASWL Commissioner “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and ASWL Divas Commissioner Madusa. Clardy is at the desk with Piper to the left of him and Madusa to the right of him. Clardy said, “Good evening, everyone. As you saw last Sunday at Survival Quest and last Thursday on Inferno, ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage as been involved in Hulk Hogan’s past two matches. Now Savage was there for just contract negotiations for those two nights but Savage insured me that he will not interfere in last week’s show and what he did broke that trust. I’m currently putting my contract negotiations with Savage for the time being. I was going to ban Savage from ever appearing in the ASWL due to his actions, but during the week, Hulk Hogan called me and wanted a match against Savage even if Savage is a contracted superstar or not. I’ve made a decision on this situation. At ASWL Christmas Chaos, Hulk Hogan will take on Randy Savage but since Savage is not a contracted superstar, I will not sanction this match. This meaning that any serious injuries that will occur between Hogan and Savage, I nor the ASWL will be held responsible. Next Week on Inferno, there will be an official contract signing that will insure that both men understand the risks that they will go through in that match. Now for the safety of both men, I have banned Hogan and Savage from the arena tonight and they will appear this Saturday for the contract signing. Now as for tonight, the main event, in a preview of this Saturday’s Four Way Dance for the ASWL World Heavyweight Championship, it will be ASWL World Heavyweight Champion The Rock teaming up with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin against Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart & ‘The Franchise’ Shane Douglas. Thank you all and enjoy tonight’s show!”
ASWL King Of Extreme Champion Taz, Tommy Dreamer with Beulah McGuillicutty & The Sandman def. ASWL United States Champion 2 Cold Scorpio, Ahmed Johnson & D’Lo Brown with Theodore Long via submission when Taz made Brown tap out to the Tazmission.

“The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix def. Taylor Wilde via pinfall after the Glam Slam to become the #1 Contender for the ASWL Women’s Championship.
In the back, “Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle are in Theo Clardy’s office with security separating the two men. ASWL Owner Theo Clardy is sitting on his desk and said, “The reason I have the both of you here today is that I have watched what happened at Survival Quest with Kurt’s involvement in the match between The Hart Foundation & The Kilq. Now as much as I would love to reverse the decision due to Angle’s interference, the match was no disqualification and the referee’s decision is final. But then I noticed that the great feud that the both of you had and it was cut short due to Kurt Angle going to TNA. I noticed the classic match between the both of you at Wrestlemania 21 and the rematch that happened at WWE Vengeance 2006 and then the Ironman match that was suppose to settle the score but it ended in a draw. The truth is that the world never found out who was the better man. But we will have that settled because starting at All-Star Clash, we will have a Best Of 5 Gimmick Matches and to sweeten the deal, the winner of the series will become the #1 Contender for the ASWL World Heavyweight Championship and will earn a title shot at New Year’s Massacre. Now for the first match of the Best Of Five this Saturday will be inside a 15 foot high Steel Cage!”

We are going to head to the ring and take on Bret Hart and Shane Douglas whip their sorry asses. But I want to let you know, that this Saturday, it’s every man for himself in the Four Way Dance and I’m fixin’ to become the ASWL World Heavyweight Champion once again. Just remember one thing about tonight…DTA…DON’T TRUST ANYBODY!” Austin then leaves as Rock looks on with an angry scowl before he leaves.
