ASWL Inferno
Wednesday September 10th, 2008
Conseco Fieldhouse
Indianapolis, Indiana
In the parking lot, ASWL World Heavyweight Champion “Stone Cold” Steve Austin arrived from his black pickup truck and arrived to the arena.
The crowd erupts as Austin makes his way to the ring. Austin then grabs the microphone and said that he’s proud that the ASWL World title is back with Stone Cold. Austin said, “Last Saturday, nine other sorry sons of bitches found out how dangerous “Stone Cold” Steve Austin is as I opened the biggest case of whoop-ass on all of their sorry asses. But there’s one man that even though I gave him the biggest ass kicking of all time for me to get back my title, he just doesn’t seem to get it through his thick skull and that man is ‘The Franchise’ Shane Douglas. But I’ll tell you this, son. Sooner or later you will find out without a shadow of a doubt, that Austin 3:16 said I just whoop your ass…AND THAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE…CAUSE STONE COLD…”
“The Franchise” Shane Douglas along with “The Head Cheerleader” Francine. Douglas said, “You think I didn’t get the message, well you’re dead wrong. I respect the fact that you were part of a sensation that dominated pro wrestling in the 90’s, but what you really are is nothing but a ripoff of The Franchise because I was doing more controversial things back in the old ECW way before the birth of Austin 3:16! While you were jobbing to guys like Alex Wright back in WCW, I dropped the NWA World Title and started the revolution that was Extreme Championship Wrestling, ECW! While you were facing gimmick acts as The Ringmaster, I was making an impact in the world of pro wrestling as The Franchise. You see a couple of weeks ago, when I ran you down with a big rig, I made one minor mistake, I didn’t make sure that you would pull a Houdini and left before the impact. At Autumn Pain, I will prove that I’m the bigger bad ass in the world of pro wrestling and I will take the ASWL World title belt from you in the process!” Austin then said, “Hey, we don’t have to wait till Autumn Pain, why not I just beat your ass right here and now?!” Douglas looked like he was going to accept but then laughed and walked away along with Francine.
