ASWL Inferno
Thursday August 28th, 2008
Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum
Uniondale, New York
The show begins with ASWL Owner Theo Clardy sitting on his desk in his office. Clardy then said, “Ladies and gentlemen, as everyone knows our current ASWL World Heavyweight Champion John Cena is going to have neck surgery to what is believed to be a herniated disk in his neck. John Cena will be out of action for an indefinite amount of time. Due to this, it is my duty to announce that John Cena is stripped of the ASWL World Heavyweight Championship and the title is now vacant. As a result, we will have an 8 Man Elimination Match at ASWL All-Star Clash on Saturday August 31st. I’m proud to announce the eight names that are confirmed for the match that has been chosen by myself and the ASWL Board Of Directors: ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, ‘The Franchise’ Shane Douglas, Hulk Hogan ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair, ‘Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels, Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, Samoa Joe and an eighth participant that will be voted in by the ASWL fans. Now tonight’s main event will be a 10 Man Tag Team match involving the 10 Men that are on the poll to determine the 8th spot in the 8 Man Elimination Match at All-Star Clash. Thank you very much and enjoy ASWL Inferno.”
Robert Roode makes his way to the ring for a match but nobody knows who Roode’s opponent is. ASWL Commissioner “Rowdy” Roddy Piper arrived on the entrance stage and congratulated Roode on his victory against Sabu in an Extreme Rules Match last Sunday. Roode is now reinstated and is once again an ASWL superstar. He then said that he had some help winning the match thanks to Raven and eventhough he can’t fire Raven, someone took care of that situation and that man is Roode’s opponent tonight in an Extreme Rules Match…Tommy Dreamer!

You see, we got a little event this Saturday called ASWL All-Star Clash
and I’m hoping to get a huge card for this special night and that’s what I’m about to do starting with the ASWL Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line between the NEW Champions Trish & Lita against The Beautiful People!” Angelina and Velvet like the idea and thanked Theo but he respond, “Hold on, you can’t thank me yet because since the both of you ladies claim that you are the most beautiful women in the ASWL Women’s Roster, if any of the fans don’t believe me, ask them because they have like a novel of explanations why, well there are some that may want to bring you two down to earth. This match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship will be a Texas Tornado Lumberjill match involving every woman in the ASWL Women’s Locker Room and from what I hear; some of them may not like the ‘Beautiful People’. Good luck to the both of you teams.” Clardy leaves along with Trish and Lita with smiles on their faces. Meanwhile, Angelina and Velvet have concerned looks on their faces.
