From the broadcast booth at ringside, Jim Ross, Jesse “The Body” Ventura & Joey Styles welcomed everyone to SummerClash. They ran down the complete card tonight and wondered what condition “Stone Cold” Steve Austin may have suffered after what happened at ASWL Inferno a couple days ago. They then sent it to Lillian Garcia for the introductions of tonight’s first match.
The Motor City Machine Guns def. ASWL World Tag Team Champions Tomko and MVP via pinfall when Chris Sabin pinned MVP after the Cradle Shock to become the NEW ASWL World Tag Team Champions.
In the back, John Cena was seen arming up with Edge and Sunny in preparation for his upcoming ASWL World Heavyweight Championship opportunity against ASWL World Heavyweight Champion “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Joel Gertner tried to interview Cena but Sunny yelled at Gertner to leave and kicked him out of the dressing room.
“The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix def. Torrie Wilson via pinfall after the Wheelbarrow Facebuster.
Tommy Dreamer with Beulah McGuillicutty def. Raven in a Barbed Wire Cage, Loser Leaves ASWL Match via pinfall after the Spicoli Driver.
In the back, “Mean” Gene Okerlund interviewed Samoa Joe who said that the time as arrived. Joe said that his backup is here and he’s ready to enter the ring alongside Joe and kick JBL and Big Van Vader’s big asses all over Madison Square Garden.
JBL and Big Van Vader arrived in the ring for their tag team match against Samoa Joe and his mystery partner.
Samoa Joe then arrived to the ring and announced his tag team partner for the match…HULK HOGAN!
Samoa Joe & Hulk Hogan def. JBL & Big Van Vader with Harley Race via pinfall when Hogan pinned JBL after the Legdrop. After the match, Hogan and Joe celebrated in the middle of the ring as the crowd before Joe leaves the ring to let Hogan do his post match celebration to a monster pop from the crowd.
In the back, “Mean Gene” Okerlund interviewed Trish Stratus & Lita about their Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the Women’s Tag Team titles. Trish & Lita said that they will become the Women’s Tag Team Champions tonight and prove to both the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew and The Beautiful People why they are the top two divas in pro Wrestling.
Trish Stratus & Lita def. ASWL Women’s Tag Team Champions The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew (Lacey & Rain) & The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky) via pinfall after Trish pinned Sky after the Stratusfaction Bulldog to become the NEW ASWL Women’s Tag Team Champions.
In the back, Joel Gertner interviewed Robert Roode about having to defeat Sabu in an Extreme Rules match to be reinstated. Roode said that eventhough Sabu is one of the Kings of the Extreme Rules matches, he’s confident that he’ll be reinstated tonight.
Robert Roode def. Sabu with Bill Alfonso in an Extreme Rules Match via pinfall after Raven interfered and knocked out Sabu with a vicious steel chair shot. After the match, ASWL security ran in and escorted Raven out of the building.
In the back, “Mean” Gene Okerlund interviewed Bret “Hitman” Hart, D-Generation X & ASWL Commissioner “Rowdy” Roddy Piper about taking on The Wolfpac in a captain’s fall 8 Man Tag Team Match. Piper announced that there’s a change in the card and per request by Bret Hart, he gives up his captain status and gives it to “Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels. Michaels said, “You know, Bret. It’s good that you put so much trust in me to lead this team in victory. But you know, it doesn’t matter if I’m the captain or Bret’s the captain because this group is a united well oiled machine. United we stand, divided we fall. Tonight Wolfpac, you would have to Pay the piper, deal with The Hitman and get in the face of D-Generation X and all four of you will be flat on the mat and if you ain’t down with that, then we and New York City’s got two words for ya…” Then DX, Piper and Hart all screamed “SUCK IT!” along with the crowd before they head to the ring.
In the back, Joel Gertner interviewed The Wolfpac (Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, “Road Dogg” Jesse James & “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn) about taking on Bret Hart, DX and Roddy Piper in a captain’s fall 8 Man Tag Team Match. Nash said that HBK and HHH have changed but the Wolfpac doesn’t and tonight they are going to exploit that weakness tonight. Hall said that they don’t care whose the captain of their opponents because they are still going to kick their asses and leave them in pools of their own blood.

-- Triple H eliminated by Kevin Nash via pinfall after the Jackknife Powerbomb.
-- Kevin Nash eliminated by Shawn Michaels via pinfall after Sweet Chin Music.
After the match, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart celebrated in the ring until Bret attacked Shawn from behind. Bret gets a steel chair from ringside and knocked out Shawn with a Vicious Steel Chair shot that bust HBK wide open. Hart then locks in the Sharpshooter on HBK and refuses to let go. Officials and Security ran in and tried to break the hold from Hart. Kevin Nash then ran in and broke up the hold but Bret quickly leaves the ring before Nash can get a hand on him. Triple H, Roddy Piper, Scott Hall and The New Age Outlaws ran in to check on a bloodied and beaten HBK as Hart leaves up the ramp and looks at the ring with a sly grin on his face.

ASWL Women’s Champion Mickie James def. Melina via pinfall after the Standing Tornado DDT to retain the ASWL Women’s Championship.
In the back, Joel Gertner interviewed Barry Windham who said that he will prove himself in the 8 Man Tag Team Match tonight and prove that he is a true member of the Four Horsemen.
Generation Next (Austin Aries, Jack Evans, Roderick Strong & Matt Sydal) with Jade Chung def. The Four Horsemen (“Nature Boy” Ric Flair, “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard & Barry Windham) with James J. Dillon via pinfall when Aries pinned Windham after Sid Vicious interfered and Powerbombed Barry Windham while the referee was trying to break up a fight between the remaining members of both teams on the outside. Vicious then placed Aries on top of Windham for the pinfall win. After the match, Generation Next leaves the ring and heads to the back and then Vicious, Dillon, Flair, Anderson and Blanchard started beating up Windham in the ring before Sid hits another Powerbomb to Windham. The Horsemen then leave the ring and went up to the Entrance stage and gave Windham the Four Horsemen hand gesture. The Horsemen then laughed as Windham slowly getting to his feet and looked on in disbelief.
Terry Funk def. ASWL King Of Extreme Champion Cactus Jack in an Extreme Rules match via pinfall after a piledriver onto a bed of barbed wire to become the NEW ASWL King Of Extreme Championship.
In the back, “Mean” Gene Okerlund interviewed ASWL World Heavyweight Champion “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in his locker room. A focused and unusually quiet Austin has a focused yet angry look on his face. Okerlund asked Austin about Shane Douglas helping Sunny Industries attack Austin days before on Inferno. Austin said that he knew that Douglas is one cold hearted bastard but he took it to a whole new extreme last Thursday. Okerlund then asked about his condition and Austin told him that he luckily found a latch that got him out of the trunk without anyone knowing and he was fortunate because he saw the wreck on TV and if he didn’t find the latch, it would’ve ended is career maybe his life. Austin then said that he is focused on beating Cena’s ass and leave with the ASWL World Heavyweight Championship tonight. Okerlund thanked Austin for the time as Austin continues to put in his knee braces.
“The Legend Killer” Randy Orton with “Cowboy” Bob Orton def. ASWL International Champion “All American” Ron Simmons via pinfall after the RKO to become the NEW ASWL International Champion. After the match, Edge attacked Randy Orton but Orton fought back and the two men brawled until ASWL Officials arrived to separate the two men.
The Impact Players & Dawn Marie def. ASWL International Tag Team Champions The Second City Saints & Traci Brooks via pinfall when Justin Credible pinned Colt Cabana after the “That’s Incredible” Tombstone Piledriver. With the win, The Impact Players became the NEW ASWL International Tag Team Champions.
In the back, Joel Gertner interviewed “The Franchise” Shane Douglas and Francine who said that they purchased two front row tickets tonight to see John Cena beat the crap out of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and become the NEW ASWL World Heavyweight Champion and said if Cena couldn’t get the job done tonight, he was going to do it!
John Cena with Sunny def. ASWL World Heavyweight Champion “Stone Cold” Steve Austin via pinfall when The Big Show interfered and hits Austin with a chokeslam before Cena picked up Austin and hits the F-U to become the NEW ASWL World Heavyweight Champion. During the match, Steve Austin and Shane Douglas got into a fight at ringside after Douglas cheap shot Austin from behind. Douglas and Francine were removed from the arena by Security. Moments before the conclusion of the match, “Bulldozer” Brian Lee interfered and hits Austin with a steel chair and Cena covered Austin but only got a two count. Austin came back and then looks to hit Cena with the Stone Cold Stunner but Sunny held onto Austin’s leg. Austin then grabbed Sunny by the hair then The Big Show came into the ring as the referee was trying to get MVP to the back. Show then hits the chokeslam on an unsuspecting Steve Austin. Cena then picked up Austin and hits the F-U for the pinfall and the win. After the match, Cena celebrated the title win with Sunny, Brian Lee, Big Show and the rest of Sunny Enterprises as the show comes to a close.
