ASWL Inferno
Thursday August 14th, 2008
Wachovia Center
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
ASWL Owner Theo Clardy arrived to the ring with ASWL Commissioner “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and introduced Jim Ross & Jesse “The Body” Ventura who took their places at the broadcast booth at ringside. Clardy then introduced the newest member of the ASWL broadcast team, Joey Styles.
Joey Styles makes his way to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd. Styles shook Theo’s hand and then Piper’s hand as the crowd chants “Joey…Joey”. Styles then gets the microphone and says, “OH MY GOD!” to a huge pop. Styles then said how happy he is to be apart of the ASWL and to join Jim Ross and Jesse “The Body” Ventura at ringside to call some great ASWL action.
Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, “Road Dogg” Jesse James & “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn arrived to the ring as Joey leaves to the announce table. Nash immediately got into Theo’s face as the rest of the Wolfpac surround Theo. Nash said, “Okay, we get it Joey Styles is the newest member of the ASWL. Whoop-de-do. Listen, I can care less about him. The only thing that matters is that ever since me, Hall, Road Dogg and The Bad Ass showed up in the ASWL, you give us no respect since day one but when Joey Styles gets signed to the company, they throw a huge party for his arrival. Let me give you a reminder, you fat piece of s**t one group of people that deserves a party in their honor, it’s the Wolfpac!” Nash then grabs Clardy by the jacket, but then Piper separated Nash from Clardy and demand Nash to not touch Theo. Nash was about to deck him but Theo said, ”Hey, if you and your friends don’t want to get fired, I would listen to what Piper just told you!” Clardy said that he’s not afraid of Nash nor the Wolfpac. Clardy said that ever since The Wolfpac was formed all they did is cause havoc. Clardy said that the havoc ends here in Philadelphia. Clardy then announced that all the members of the Wolfpac will take on Generation Next in an 8 Man Elimination Tag Team Match and Theo will be the special guest referee. Nash mockingly said, “Fine by us. You think that you got all the cards stacked in your favor. Well, we are going to go through that little Jr. High squad and make you learn not to mess with me and my crew!” The Wolfpac then leaves the ring as Clardy and Piper looked on.
