From the broadcast booth at ringside, Jim Ross and Jesse “The Body” Ventura welcomed everyone to ASWL Inferno. They hyped up the Six Way Dance to determine the #1 Contender for the ASWL World Heavyweight Championship later tonight.
Strike Force & The Hardy Boyz with Lita def. ASWL World Tag Team Champions Dudley Boyz & ASWL International Tag Team Champions Fabulous Freebirds with Joel Gertner & Stacy Keibler via pinfall when Tito Santana pinned D’Von Dudley after the Flying Forearm.

“Rowdy” Roddy Piper came out to the ring for his “Piper’s Pit” interview segment and introduced his guest for the segment, Sting. Piper asked Sting who his partners will be at the May Mayhem Pay Per View. Just when Sting was about to announce his partners, The Minnesota Wrecking Crew and Tully Blanchard arrived from the crowd and attacked Sting from behind.
Suddenly, D-Generation X (Triple H & “Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels) ran in the ring and helped Sting. DX and Sting then cleared the ring and sent The Andersons and Blanchard to the outside. Sting then introduced his partners for the Six Man Tag Team Match at May Mayhem, D-Generation X. DX and Sting then celebrated in the ring as the show went to commercial.

ASWL International Champion Rob Van Dam with Bill Alfonso def. Elijah Burke in an non-title match via pinfall after the Five Star Frog Splash. After the match, Shelton Benjamin who was joined JR and Ventura on the announce booth for guest commentary for the match entered the ring and attacked RVD from behind. Van Dam quickly fought back and the two men brawled in the ring until ASWL Security rushed in to break up the fight.
In the back, “Mean” Gene Oakerlund interviewed ASWL Women’s Champion Trish Stratus about facing Awesome Kong at May Mayhem and trying to avoid what she had suffered last week which was being the receiving end of the Sit-Out Awesome Bomb. Stratus said, “I have never faced anyone as powerful and vicious as Awesome Kong. But I strive on the best competition that comes my way. At May Mayhem; I’ll take down Kong and walk out with the Women’s title, Stratusfaction Guaranteed!

CM Punk & Magnum T.A def. Randy Orton & “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles via pinfall after Joe pinned Orton after the Muscle Buster. It was announced before the match that the same four participants will battle at May Mayhem in a Fatal Four Way Match to determine the #1 Contender for the ASWL International Championship.
In the back, Joel Gertner interviewed ASWL Commissioner Mick Foley who announced that at May Mayhem, Austin Aries will take on “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson in a 15 Minute Ironman match. He then announced that also at May Mayhem, Tommy Dreamer defends the King Of Extreme title against Raven in a Barbed Wire Match and Mick will be the Special Guest Referee.

Awesome Kong def. Ashley Massaro via pinfall after the sit-out Awesome Bomb. Before the match, Awesome Kong made her way to the ring staring at a picture of Trish Stratus. During the match, ASWL Women’s Champion Trish Stratus was shown watching the match on a monitor backstage.
In the back, “Mean” Gene Okerlund interviewed Austin Aries about the 15 Minute Ironman Match at May Mayhem against “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson. Aries said that the Ironman Match is the ultimate match to prove whose the better wrestler is. Aries said that he is confident that he will beat Danielson and be the better wrestler.

ASWL King of Extreme Champion Tommy Dreamer with Beulah McGuillicutty def. Robert Roode with Peyton Banks in an Extreme Rules Match via pinfall after the Spicoli Driver (Death Valley Driver) on the stop sign to retain the King Of Extreme Championship. After the match, Raven came through the crowd and attacked Dreamer from behind. Raven then hits the Evenflow DDT on Dreamer and then grabbed the ASWL King Of Extreme title belt. Raven did his trademark pose and dropped the belt on Dreamer’s stomach before leaving the ring.
In the back, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky approached ASWL Owner Theo Clardy and asked him if there’s any match for them to compete in at May Mayhem. Clardy told them that they pick the right time to do that because there’s one title that he didn’t introduced at SuperFight, but will introduce at May Mayhem. Clardy then gets out a steel briefcase and opens it up to reveal the ASWL Women’s Tag Team Championship belts. Clardy said that there will be a Fatal Four Way Tag Team match to determine the champions at May Mayhem but those participants will be decided in Qualifying Matches. Clardy then told Velvet and Angelina that they are in a Qualifying Match next. Angelina and Velvet thanked Theo then Velvet gives Theo a kiss on the cheek and Angelina did the same thing. Velvet and Angelina leave as Clardy look on with a smile and said, “There are days which I just love my job…Today is one of those days!”

Velvet Sky & Angelina Love def. Jillian Hall & Victoria in an ASWL Women’s Tag Team Championship Qualifying Match via pinfall when Love pinned Hall after the Lights Out Jumping Reverse STO.

Demolition Ax & Justin Credible def. Lance Storm & Ron Simmons and Demolition Smash & Butch Reed in a “Mixed Up Madness” Triple Threat Tag Team EMW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Qualifying Match via pinfall when Credible pinned Ron Simmons after the “That’s Incredible” Tombstone Piledriver. With the win, Demolition will face The Impact Players at May Mayhem to determine the #1 Contender for the ASWL World Tag Team Championship. After the match, Theodore Long and Butch Reed were yelling at Simmons for them not being in the #1 Contender’s Match at May Mayhem. Long and Reed then leave the Reed with Simmons following him in disgust.

“The Franchise” Shane Douglas with “The Head Cheerleader” Francine def. The Rock, Kurt Angle with Karen Angle, The Undertaker, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair with James J. Dillon and Samoa Joe in a Six Pack Challenge via pinfall when Douglas pinned Kurt Angle after The Rock hits the Rock Bottom on Angle but when Rock was going for the cover, Douglas threw Rock to the outside and pinned Angle to win the match.
