In light of the news of Lindsay Lohan's release from Extreme Madness Wrestling Thursday Afternoon, many of the EMW Superstars and Starlets react to the news of her release.
"I couldn't say that I was surprised with the news," says Jessica Alba. "But I was kind of shocked on how it happened after the latest news of Lohan's arrest. I guess it was the final straw and EMW had to do something. I really hope Lindsay can recover from her latest ordeal. But you have to ask, 'How long you can take before you had enough?'"
EMW General Manager Al Bundy says, "I think this was the best thing for EMW to do. Lohan has cemented her mark in EMW in the ring, but outside she was a burden. The numerous run-ins with the law, the parents and the drugs. It was all a recipe for disaster and I'll give Theo Clardy credit, he tried to defend her because she was one of the people that started EMW and Clardy appreciates it. But finally, enough was enough. EMW had to do something and this was the best way to do it."
EMW World Women's Champion Bustice says that she wasn't shocked at the news at all. "It had to happen at some point. I believe to some in the Starlets locker room, they said that it should have been done sooner. Lohan is a great talent but her actions outside EMW has ruined what was a great career in EMW. It's really sad to see it come to the conclusion, but it had to be done and I applaud EMW for their decision."
The question is will Lindsay Lohan ever return to an EMW ring ever again?! If Lohan can brave through her recent legal troubles, only time will tell. But based on her accomplishments in EMW and in NGW, will she be in the EMW Hall Of Fame at anytime. EMW Executive Producer Dana Gordon says that it would be a possibility.
"We would love to do business with Lindsay Lohan again. As for her accomplishments, she should be in the EMW Hall Of Fame, but it all depends on how Lohan can handle herself, face the punishment she may be given and how she will recover from it all."
