-- Since Hurricane has taken Rosey under his wing as Hurricane's Super Hero In Training, Hurricane & Rosey had been good contenders for the titles.
-- Hurricane & Rosey won a Tag Team Gauntlet Match to become #1 Contenders.
-- Tag Team Title Match confirmed for New Year's Revolution.

WWE Women's Championship
Lita (c) vs. Trish Stratus

-- Lita won the Women's Championship at December 6th edition of WWE RAW.
-- Trish reveals that she has a rematch clause and will cash it in at New Year's Revolution.
-- Women's Title Match confirmed for New Year's Revolution.
-- Both divas claim that they will leave NYR as Women's Champion.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian vs. Chris Jericho vs. Maven

-- Shelton Benjamin teams with Maven to take on Christian & Tomko. Maven turns on Benjamin making him heel.
-- Maven interferes in the #1 Contender's Match between Chris Jericho vs. Christian.
-- Maven says that he's done waiting for his chances to come and he's just going to take it.
-- Fatal Four Way Elimination Match between Benjamin, Christian, Y2J & Maven confirmed for New Year's Revolution.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. Muhammad Hassan with Daivari

-- Muhammad Hassan makes his debut alongside Daivari and immediatley insults the United States.
-- "Hacksaw Jim Duggan arrives and has a problem with what Hassan is saying.
-- Hassan attacks Duggan and puts him in Camel Clutch whiel Daivari insults Slaughter.
-- Match is made between Hassan and Duggan at New Year's Revolution.

-- On 9/13/04 edition of Monday Night RAW, Kane accidently fell on a "Pregnant" Lita after Snitsky hits Kane's back with a steel chair. It was later discovered that Lita has a "miscarriage".
-- The next week, Kane looked for revenge but then Snitsky knock out Kane with a lead pipe.
-- Snitsky defeated Kane at Taboo Tuesday in a Steel Chair Match after trapping Kane's neck with the steel chair and jumping on the chair after jumping on the top rope, "crushing his larynx" and "injurying" him for six months .
-- Snitsky claims that "IT WASN'T MY FAULT" about the miscarriage and then would later mock the miscarriage.
-- Falls Count Anywhere match confirmed for New Year's Revolution.

World Heavyweight Championship
Elimination Chamber Match
Randy Orton (c) vs. Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. Edge
vs. "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels vs. Batista

-- Randy Orton won the World Heavyweight title defeating Triple H at 12/06/04 edition of RAW.
-- Triple H claims that he was cheated and asked for a rematch.
-- WWE RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff that he'll get his rematch at New Year's Revolution, but it will be in an Elimination Chamber Match along with Benoit, Edge, HBK and Batista.
-- Triple H asked fellow Evolution teammate Batista to help get rid of the rest of the participants in the Elimination Chamber and then make sure that HHH gets back the World title at NYR. Batista agrees but then thinks about him being the World Champion.

William Regal & Eugene (c) vs. The Hurricane & Rosey
Result: Regal & Eugene retain the title belts via pinfall when Eugene pinned Hurricane after the Rock Bottom

WWE Women's Championship
Lita (c) vs. Trish Stratus
Result: Trish Stratus regains the title belt via pinfall with a rollup while hanging onto the ropes for more leverage without the referee looking.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Fatal Four Way Elimination Match
Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian vs. Chris Jericho vs. Maven
Result: Shelton Benjamin retains after last eliminating Maven. Christian was eliminated first by Chris Jericho after the Lionsault. Y2J eliminated next by Maven with a rollup after a low blow.

Muhammad Hassan with Daivari vs. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan
Result: Hassan gets the win via submission with the Camel Clutch.

Pinfalls Count Anywhere
Kane with Lita vs. Snitsky
Result: Kane wins the match via pinfall after the Chokeslam through the announce table. Kane and Lita reconcile and thus turn Kane into a babyface.

World Heavyweight Championship
Elimination Chamber Match
Randy Orton (c) vs. Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. Edge vs. "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels vs. Batista
Result: Randy Orton retains the Championship after last eliminating Triple H after Batista accidently spears Triple H that was meant for Orton and then Orton hitting both Batista and HHH with RKO's. Edge gets eliminated first by HBK after Sweet Chin Music. HBK was eliminated next by Batista after Edge spears HBK as he sets up Batista for Sweet Chin Music. Benoit was eliminated next by HHH after the Pedigree. Batista eliminated by Orton after the first RKO.
