From the broadcast booth at ringside, Jim Ross, Joey Styles & Jesse “The Body” Ventura welcomed everyone to ASWL Inferno as “Rock Out” by Motorhead, the official ASWL Inferno theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. JR, Styles & Ventura announced that tonight will be the start of the ASWL World Cruiser X Cup as The Motor City Machine Guns, representing Team ASWL take on Taka Michinoku & Alex Koslov from Team International and Team Canada’s Petey Williams & Tyson Dux taking on Team Mexico’s La Parka & Juventud Guerrera.
"The Legend Killer” Randy Orton makes his way to the ring along with “Cowboy” Bob Orton. Orton got the microphone and said explained his actions last Saturday on All-Star Clash where he attacked ASWL World Heavyweight Champion The Rock and then punt kicked him in the head. Orton said that he wants a shot at the ASWL World Heavyweight Championship tonight. ASWL Owner Theo Clardy arrived on the entrance stage with ASWL Commissioner “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and ASWL Divas Commissioner Madusa. Clardy said, “Randy, you had the balls to request for a World title match tonight after what you did to The Rock at All-Star Clash. Well I have some news for you; The Rock isn’t here tonight because he is recovering from a concussion he suffered last Saturday. But if you want Rocky tonight…YOU GOT HIM TONIGHT!” Orton looked on confused and told Theo that he’s got a match against The Rock but he announced that Rock isn’t here tonight. Clardy then replied, “That is where you are wrong, my friend. Because after what you did last Saturday, I had a phone call from a certain family member of The Rock’s and he wants to kick your ass tonight. That man is…’SOUL MAN’ ROCKY JOHNSON!” Suddenly, Rocky Johnson came from the crowd and attacked Orton from behind. The two men brawled and then Rocky gets the upper hand. Rocky then did his trademark Johnson Shuffle that sent Orton out of the ring. Bob Orton then tried to attack Johnson but Johnson got the upper hand before throwing Bob Orton over the top rope and to the outside. Johnson then stared at The Ortons with a furious rage as we go to commercial.

Motor City Machine Guns (Team ASWL) def. Alex Wright & Alex Koslov (Team International) in a Round One Match in the ASWL World Cruiser X Cup Tournament via pinfall when Chris Sabin pinned Koslov after the Cradle Shock. Team ASWL with the win gets 1 point.
In the back, Maria interviews New ASWL Women’s Champion “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix. Phoenix said, “Last Saturday, I dominated against that nobody Candice Michelle and now the ASWL Women’s Championship is in the possession of a woman who is worthy of being champion because I’m the perfect combination of beauty and strength. I’m every man’s desire and every woman’s worst nightmare. I am The Glamazon, the ASWL Women’s Champion. Get use to it because based on the so called competition of the ASWL, this title will remain with me for a long, long time.” Just after she said that Awesome Kong arrives and the two women have an intense staredown before the commercial break.

In the back, “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas approached “Soul Man” Rocky Johnson as he was preparing to face Randy Orton tonight. Atlas wished Rocky the best of luck and he’s worried that Rocky will suffer the same faith as his son last Saturday. Rocky told Atlas, “Tony, that punk Orton nearly took off my son’s head last Saturday. I just have to do something about it and prove to Randy that if he messes with my son, he messed with me and that will be the biggest mistake of his life.” Atlas then asked Johnson to be in his corner tonight and keep Bob Orton in line. Rocky accepts Atlas’s offer as Atlas leaves so Rocky can prepare for his match.
ASWL Women’s Tag Team Champion “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix & The Beautiful People def. Candice Michelle & ASWL Women’s Tag Team Champion Trish Stratus & Lita via pinfall when Phoenix pinned Candice after the Glam Slam. During the match, Awesome Kong is seen watching the match on the monitor backstage.

Kurt Angle def. “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels in a Submissions Match in via submission with the Ankle Lock in Match #1 of the Best of 5 Gimmick Matches Series with the winner of the series getting an ASWL World Heavyweight title shot at ASWL New Year’s Massacre. The series is now tied 1-1.

La Parka & Juventud Guerrera (Team Mexico) def. Petey Williams & Tyson Dux (Team Canada) in a Round One Match in the ASWL World Cruiser X Cup Tournament via pinfall when La Parka pinned Tyson Dux after the Corkscrew Moonsault. Team Mexico with the win gets 1 point.
In the back, ASWL Owner Theo Clardy is talking with ASWL Divas Commissioner Madusa in his office until they was approached by Awesome Kong. Kong asked Theo and Madusa for an ASWL Women’s title shot at Christmas Chaos. Clardy hanged up the phone and told Kong, "Kong, I would love to award you the title shot, but you know the deal, you would have to earn the shot.” Kong then said that she’ll challenge anyone from the ASWL Divas locker room to a match. Suddenly, Molly Holly arrives in the office and told Theo and Madusa that she hasn’t been showcased on ASWL as of late and wants to compete tonight. Madusa then says, “You know what, I got an idea. Since Kong wants the title shot at Christmas Chaos and Molly wants some air time, tonight it will be Awesome Kong against Molly Holly and the winner will face Beth Phoenix at Christmas Chaos. Clardy smiled and said, “That’s an awesome idea. Two birds with one stone, baby!” Molly was in complete shock about the announcement and Theo said, “Oh, by the way…THE MATCH IS NEXT!” Kong smiled as she leaves as Molly looked on scared as she leaves. ASWL Commissioner “Rowdy” Roddy Piper then arrived in the office, before seeing Kong and Molly leave the office and then said to Clardy and Madusa with a confused look, “Did I miss something?!”

Taz & ASWL International Tag Team Champions Rob Van Dam & Sabu with Bill Alfonso def. ASWL United States & King Of Extreme Champion 2 Gold Scorpio with Theodore Long & Harlem Heat with Sharmell via submission when Taz made Scorpio tap out to the Tazmission.
In the back, Melina approached ASWL Owner Theo Clardy. Melina asked Clardy to do her a favor in which Clardy told Melina that all ASWL requests go to ASWL Commissioner Madusa. Melina then told Clardy that the issue isn’t Diva related. Melina then told Clardy that she wanted to take a break from competition in the Diva’s division so she can manage her new team. Clardy then said, “Well, how about this?! How about your new team will debut and the opponents will be former WWE Tag Team Champions Strike Force up next?!” Melina liked the idea and then she introduced her tag team, John Morrison & The Miz.

John Morrison & The Miz with Melina def. Strike Force via pinfall when Morrison pinned Tito Santana after the Moonlight Drive. After the match, Melina got the microphone and said that it won’t be long till Miz & Morrison get gold in the ASWL.
In the back, “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas was attacked by “The Legend Killer” Randy Orton and “Cowboy” Bob Orton as Atlas was heading back to the locker room area. Orton then hits the RKO to Atlas on the concrete floor. Orton then goes to a knockout Atlas and said, “When you somehow recover, that I’m going to put Rocky in the same hospital room as his son.” The Ortons then was about to leave but Atlas was slowly getting up then Orton said, “As a matter of fact, I’ll tell him!” then Orton hits a vicious punt kick to Atlas’s head knocking him out cold. Rocky Johnson then runs to check on Atlas and Orton said, “Tonight! I’m going to kill your legend as quickly as I done to your partner!” The Ortons leave as Rocky check on Atlas as we go to commercial.

After the break, footage is shown from before the commercial break of Tony Atlas being put on the stretcher and being put in an ambulance. Once Atlas was in the ambulance, it drove off to the nearby hospital.
Sunny Enterprises (“Rated R Superstar” Edge, Big Show, MVP & Tomko) with Sunny def. Shark Boy, Matt Cross & The Rock & Roll Express via pinfall when Show pinned Shark Boy after the Chokeslam. During the match it was announced that Sunny Enterprises will take on The Brothers Of Destruction (Undertaker and Kane), John Cena & A Mystery Partner at Christmas Chaos.

After the match, Orton continued to attack Johnson and have him set up for the Punt kick. Suddenly, ASWL World Heavyweight Champion The Rock arrived from the crowd and attacked Orton. Rock then attempted the Rock Bottom on RKO but Orton blocked it and quickly leaves the ring. Bob Orton tried to attack Rock but got a Rock Bottom for his effort. Randy then dragged his father out of the ring as Rock helped his father to his feet. ASWL Owner Theo Clardy then arrived onstage and said, “Randy, after what you did to Tony Atlas, I was going to suspend you indefently but just before your match, The Rock called me on the phone and request that he will defend the ASWL World title against Randy Orton. It’s a big money match I just can’t say no to. So at Christmas Chaos, we have our main event. In the battle of third generation superstars, The Rock will defend the ASWL World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton! Now as of what we just saw, I just thought of another idea. Next week for the first time ever, we will have the first ever Father-Son Tag Team Match as Randy Orton and his father ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton will take on the father-son team of The Rock and ‘Soul Man’ Rocky Johnson!” Clardy then leaves as the father-son teams exchange words to end the show.
