From the broadcast booth at ringside, Jim Ross, Joey Styles & Jesse “The Body” Ventura welcomed everyone to ASWL Inferno as fireworks exploded all over the arena. JR, Styles & Ventura reviewed tonight’s huge main event between ASWL World Heavyweight Champion The Rock, Hulk Hogan & “Stone Cold” Steve Austin against The Triple Threat (“The Franchise” Shane Douglas.
Scott Steiner, Jay Briscoe, Jeff Hardy, Homicide & “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen def. Bubba Ray Dudley, Booker T, Justin Credible, Jimmy Jacobs & Robert Roode via pinfall when Steen pinned Credible after the Package Piledriver.
In the back, ASWL World Heavyweight Champion The Rock arrived to the arena carrying his bags on his right hand and holds the ASWL World Heavyweight title over his left shoulder.

In the parking lot, Hulk Hogan stepped out of his humvee limousine and then makes his way to the arena. JR, Styles and Ventura mentioned that Hogan will team up with The Rock & “Stone Cold” Steve Austin against The Triple Threat tonight.
The Brian Kendrick with Ezekiel Jackson & The Kings Of Wrestling with Larry Sweeney def. ASWL Cruiser X Champion “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal with So Cal Val & The Motor City Machine Guns via pinfall when Kendrick pinned Lethal after The Kendrick. After the match, So Cal Val checked on Lethal until Kendrick grabs So Cal Val and then kisses her on the lips. Kendrick then leaves with a sinister smile on his face as So Cal Val looked on in complete shock over what has happened.

“The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix def. Taylor Wilde via pinfall after the Glam Slam. After the match, The Beautiful People arrived and attacked Wilde. ASWL Women’s Champion Candice Michelle tried to run in and save Wilde but she was attacked by Victoria. Footage was then shown from the back that Trish Stratus, Lita and Mickie James were locked out of the Women’s dressing room. Back in the ring, April hunter brought a steel chair and placed in on the mat. Velvet Sky & Angelina Love then hits Wilde with a Spike Piledriver onto the steel chair. The rest of The Candy Girls Team (Trish Stratus, Lita & Mickie James then escaped the locker room and then ran in to the ring but The Glamazons quickly exit the ring. Candice, Trish, Lita & Mickie checked on Wilde as EMTs arrived and checked on her before putting a neck brace on her. The EMTs then put Wilde in a stretcher and then was sent off to the arena in an ambulance.

In the back, “Mean” Gene Okerlund interviewed The Glamazons who gloated about taking out Taylor Wilde and that The Candy Girls will go into their match short handed. ASWL Divas Commissioner Madusa arrived and announced that thanks to what happened earlier today, Taylor Wilde is out of the Survival Quest match but does add that she went to Candice Michelle and she told Madusa that The Candy Girls does have a replacement for Taylor Wilde. Beth Phoenix told Madusa that they are not afraid of whomever Candice and her team chooses to replace Taylor Wilde at Survival Quest. Madusa then announced that later tonight, Velvet Sky will take on Candice Michelle for the ASWL Women’s Championship and the rest of The Glamazons are banned from ringside and if members of The Glamazons interfere in the match, all of the members will be suspended without pay till further notice. Madusa leave as The Glamazons are protesting the order.
ASWL International Champion Samoa Joe & CM Punk def. “Nature Boy” Ric Flair & JBL via pinfall when Punk pinned JBL after the GTS.
In the back, Maria interviewed Theodore Long who introduced his newest acquisition, Ahmed Johnson. Johnson said that Theodore Long will lead him to bigger and better success in the ASWL and will destroy anyone that gets in his way.

Ahmed Johnson with Theodore Long def. Tommy Dreamer with Beulah McGuillicutty via pinfall after the Pearl River Plunge. After the match, ASWL United States Champion 2 Cold Scorpio, “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry, “Hacksaw” Butch Reed and D’Lo Brown arrived and continue to beat down Dreamer until Rob Van Dam, Sabu & The Sandman arrived to save Dreamer but they were outnumbered until ASWL King Of Extreme Champion Taz arrived and cleaned house. Johnson, Scorpio, Henry, Reed and Brown scattered to the outside. Taz got the microphone and challenged Theodore Long’s group to a 5-on-5 Elimination Tag Team Extreme Rules Match at Survival Quest. Theodore Long accepts Taz’s challenge on their behalf.
In the back, “Mean” Gene Okerlund interviewed Hulk Hogan about teaming with The Rock against Austin Aries & Roderick Strong for the ASWL World Tag Team Championship tonight. Suddenly, “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas & “Soul Man” Rocky Johnson arrived and wished Hogan the best of luck in his match tonight and Hogan said thanks to them with a smile on his face. Then Rocky said, “You know, Hulk. What will happen tonight in the match tonight? Maybe, The Rock wants to make a statement and then…BOOM!...Rock Bottom! Think about that!” Johnson & Atlas leave as Hogan’s smile quickly leaves his face after what Rocky said.

ASWL Women’s Champion Candice Michelle def. Velvet Sky via pinfall after the Candy Wrapper to retain the title. After the match, the rest of The Glamazons (“The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix, Victoria, April Hunter & Angelina Love) ran in and attacked Candice. ASWL Women’s Tag Team Champions Trish Stratus & Lita and Mickie James ran in to save Candice but they were caught in the numbers game until Awesome Kong ran in and cleaned house on The Glamazons. Kong then hits April Hunter with a vicious Implant Buster. The rest of the Glamazons dragged April out of the ring and Candice Michelle announced Awesome Kong as the replacement for Taylor Wilde for the Survival Quest match.

ASWL World Heavyweight Champion The Rock, Hulk Hogan & “Stone Cold” Steve Austin def. The Triple Threat (“The Franchise” Shane Douglas & ASWL World Tag Team Champions Austin Aries & Roderick Strong) with Francine via pinfall when Hogan pinned Strong after the leg drop. During the match, Austin and Douglas fought to the back. After the match, Aries attacked Rock from behind. Strong then joined in attacking Rock then Hogan arrived with a steel chair hitting Aries first then Strong. Rock then got to his feet and patted Hogan in the back then suddenly Hogan blasted Rock with a steel chair shot. Hogan then looked down in complete shock over what has happened as from the announce table, JR, Styles and Ventura discussed if Hogan’s chair shot was intentional or not as the show ended for this week.
