Douglas then took the masks of the masked men to reveal it’s AUSTIN ARIES and RODERICK STRONG! Douglas has the microphone and then said, “You know, a certain Commissioner of this company couldn’t say it better himself. Just when you think you know all the answers…I CHANGE THE QUESTIONS! Back in 1995, I have formed the most dominate trio in Pro Wrestling simply known as THE TRIPLE THREAT! It was myself, Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko that tore through the original ECW and then when Benoit and Malenko left for WCW, the Triple Threat still went strong as I Chris Candido, god rest his soul, and ‘The Bulldozer’ Brian Lee. And then when Brian Lee left the group, we even got stronger as one of the greatest big men of this sport, Bam Bam Bigelow joined the Triple Threat. For years, the Triple Threat has stand for the excellence in pro wrestling and has been the dominate faction in pro wrestling, not the nWo, not the Four Horsemen, and DX were only just pretenders to the throne! And now, mark it down on your calendars, Thursday October 2nd, 2008, THE TRIPLE THREAT LIVES AGAIN! Only this time, it’s the strongest team of the Triple Threat ever assembled. We got a former ROH World Champion in Austin Aries and a man who has more ways to break anyone’s back than humanly possible and has the chops that make people’s chests bleed, the Messiah of The Backbreaker, Roderick Strong! These two men are the future of this business and the two men that I’m proud to have on my side to raise the three fingers of the Triple Threat and just like in the Original ECW, the Triple Threat will run through the ASWL and there isn’t anyone in the ASWL that will stop us and to all the doubters out there that want proof. As you can see, we sucked the venom out of the so-called Texas Rattlesnake and making boots off this piece of crap and we will do it to everyone in the ASWL roster that wants to cross us. There’s a new era here in the ASWL and it’s the era of THE TRIPLE THREAT! NOW HIT MY FUCKIN’ MUSIC!”
The new Triple Threat and Francine celebrated as the show ends for this week
